Skotini Cave

Skotini

The Skotini Cave, also known as the Black Cave, is a popular diving destination located in southern Albania near the coastal town of Saranda. The cave is named for its dark interior, which is illuminated only by divers' lights.

Diving in the Skotini Cave is considered an advanced dive due to the cave's depth and the narrow passages that divers must navigate. The cave's entrance is located at a depth of about 30 meters (98 feet), and the cave extends to a depth of over 70 meters (230 feet). The cave is made up of a series of tunnels and chambers filled with crystal-clear water, which provides excellent visibility for divers.

One of the highlights of diving in the Skotini Cave is the opportunity to see the cave's unique rock formations and stalactites.

Divers must have proper training and experience to safely explore the Skotini Cave.
