Intrepido Wreck

On December 4, 1915, the Italian destroyer Intrepido fell victim to a sea mine laid by the German submarine UC-14. The destroyer suffered no significant damage and could have been towed to Vlora, but the military authorities decided to dispose of the armament and other materials. A few days later, the USS Intrepido was abandoned. By that time, the remaining hull had slid slightly into the water to a depth of 32 meters, where it is currently located.
