Cave Diver IANTD (International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers) is a type of technical diving which involves exploring underwater caves and sinkholes. It requires specialized equipment, training, and experience to safely and effectively explore underwater cave systems. Cave divers must use special techniques to maneuver within the cave environment, including using lines and reels for navigation, using guide lines for entering and exiting the cave, and using appropriate gases for diving in the cave. Cave divers must also understand the unique physics of an underwater environment and how it affects their safety and the safety of their dive partners.
